Faith Build is a volunteer program for churches and other faith-based organizations, working alongside a future homeowner to build and fund a safe, affordable home. By promoting and embracing unity and a shared commitment to serve, Faith Build provides a tangible opportunity to put your faith into action.

Bringing Faith Partners Together to Build Homes

Faith Build brings together Northwoods Habitat for Humanity, churches, and other faith-based groups to build a safe, affordable home — alongside the future homeowner. It's a hands-on way to put your faith into action while serving your community.

Why does it matter? Owning a home changes lives. It gives families stability, strength, and a foundation for a better future. But many families can't get there without help — and that's where you come in. By partnering with us, you help make homeownership possible for families who need it most.

WAYS TO SERVE

There are many ways for church members to get involved in a Faith Build on and off the construction site:

Wood framing of walls and roof, roofing, installing window and doors, siding, soffit and fascia, landscaping, installing cabinets and millwork, flooring and painting. General labor for cleaning.
Organize on-site volunteer days for your church members.
Make a financial contribution.
Organize a fundraising activity.
Create a welcome basket or other special items for the family.
Participate at ground-breaking and dedication events.
